Mirziyoyev to receive high-ranking Turkish delegation

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Turkey, which includes Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya and Director of the National Intelligence Service Ibrahim Kalın.

The Turkish delegation arrived in Tashkent within the framework of agreements reached during the Uzbek leader's official visit to Turkey on June 6-7 this year.

Bilateral talks and a joint meeting of the heads of foreign policy, law enforcement agencies and special services are planned. The focus will be on practical implementation of the decisions of the leaders of the two countries, strengthening coordination and interaction in the fight against modern challenges and threats to security.
