Iran's Supreme Leader Delivers Address: Iran's newly appointed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei broke his silence days after succeeding his assassinated father as the nation's supreme leader. In a speech read by a news anchor on state television, Khamenei stated that the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz should remain closed and that Iran would continue launching attacks against its Gulf neighbors.


The Iranian president has proposed three conditions for a ceasefire. First, recognition of the Iranian regime. Second, compensation from the United States and Israel for Iran's losses and casualties. Third, an international commitment to guarantee Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity.


UN: US-Israel strikes displace up to 3.2 million people in Iran.

The UN refugee agency says the number of people forced from their homes could rise as the United States and Israel continue deadly airstrikes inside Iran.


With no signs of the U.S. and Israel halting hostilities, and Iran intensifying attacks on global shipping and energy infrastructure in the Gulf region, oil prices surged again above $100 per barrel before retreating. The International Energy Agency stated that despite dozens of nations agreeing to release 400 million barrels of strategic oil reserves, the conflict has caused the “most severe oil supply disruption in history.”


Iran has arrested 30 American and Israeli spies, 10 Revolutionary Guard spies, and 81 individuals who provided intelligence to foreign entities online.


Eight people were killed and 140-150 injured in the United States. Thirteen people were killed and over 2,000 injured in Israel.
