Azerbaijan to receive new airplanes engaged in transportation of weapons from Israel

The Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) has approved three deals totaling more than $350 million in financing to support the bank's domestic exports and priorities.

The second and third deals relate to the approval of a loan for Azerbaijan's Silk Way West Airlines totaling more than $339 million to support aircraft exports. The airplanes are expected to be delivered by spring 2026.

It should be noted that this airline is actively engaged in the transportation of weapons from Israel.
