Russian Prime Minister will pay an official visit to Tashkent on September 9-10.

TASHKENT, September 9 - Sputnik. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan, the Prime Minister's press service said.

“On September 9-10 this year, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will pay an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan,” the press service said.

The program of the visit includes a regular meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of government of Uzbekistan and Russia, which will be held in Tashkent.

During the meeting, the participants will consider topical issues of bilateral trade and economic, investment and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

“It is planned to pay special attention to the promotion of major projects in industry, energy, transportation, agriculture, as well as in other areas of mutual interest,” the statement said.

It is also planned to familiarize with the activities of production and industrial enterprises of Tashkent city and visit other facilities within the framework of the visit.
