The resolution received support from 124 United Nations member states, with 43 countries abstaining and 14 countries opposing.

The United Nations General Assembly has passed a resolution calling on Israel to withdraw its troops from the occupied Palestinian territories.

Uzbekistan also voted in favor of the resolution and supported this international initiative. It also demands a halt to the construction of new Jewish settlements and the return of Palestinian land and property.

This document was jointly proposed by the State of Palestine and dozens of other countries. 124 UN member states supported the resolution, 43 countries abstained, and 14 countries opposed it.

This resolution was proposed based on the 1967 ruling of the United Nations International Court of Justice, which deemed the occupation of Palestinian territories illegal. The document emphasizes that the occupation must end within 12 months, otherwise Israel will face sanctions.

Israel firmly rejects this resolution. Israel's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dani Danon, called this a "shameful decision to support the Palestinian Authority's diplomatic terrorism".

The United States also opposes this resolution: Linda Thomas Greenfield, the US Permanent Representative to the United Nations, described it as "provocative" and said it does not contribute to peace in the region.
