Uzbekistan's military takes part in regional international exercises in Kazakhstan

From July 8 to July 17 in the territory of Kazakhstan will be held large-scale regional international exercises "Birlestik-2024". This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Birlestik-2024" united about 4 thousand servicemen from five countries: Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. The maneuvers involve up to 700 units of weapons and military equipment, including tanks, armored personnel carriers, artillery guns, planes and helicopters.
The purpose of the exercises is to practice joint actions to localize the armed conflict. The exercise is taking place at the Oymash training range, as well as at the sea area 2 kilometers from Cape Tokmak.
