Uzbekistan and Russia agree on mutual recognition of drug labels

Uzbekistan and Russia have agreed to introduce a system of mutual recognition of labeling of medicines and establish a mechanism for exchange of data on their turnover on the territory of both countries. This is reported by the Tax Committee.

During the visit of a delegation led by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to Uzbekistan, an agreement on information interaction for the purpose of transferring information on labeling codes of medicines for medical use was signed.

In addition, on September 10, Chairman of the Tax Committee Sherzod Kudbiyev held a meeting with Head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia Daniil Egorov and presented the automated information systems of the Tax Committee and shared experience in the introduction of modern tools for data collection and visualization (dashboards), which allow to form a clear analytical reporting on a particular activity.
