Ukraine recalls chargé d'affaires in Georgia due to misunderstanding of realities

The new head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga recalled the country's diplomatic representative in Georgia due to a lack of understanding of realities, he said on social networks.

“Informed about the introduction of the submission of the dismissal of Deputy Minister Iryna Borovets, as well as the termination of the long-term assignment of the chargé d'affaires in Georgia (complete misunderstanding of the realities of diplomacy of the warring state),” - said Sibiga.

Rada MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said on September 5 that parliament had dismissed the resigned Dmytro Kuleba from the post of Ukrainian foreign minister. On the same day, Zelenskyy submitted a submission to the Rada to appoint Andriy Sibyha to this post. In this regard, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told RIA Novosti that no one in Ukraine can articulate what is happening in power in Kiev

In addition, Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed the deputy head of his office, Rostyslav Shurma, on September 3. Ukrainian Justice Minister Denys Malyska, Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn, the head of the Environment Protection Ministry Ruslan Strelets, and Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanyshyna also resigned. The Ukrainian parliament on Wednesday backed their dismissal.
