Trade turnover between Armenia and Russia may exceed $15 bln in 2024

The trade turnover between Armenia and Russia may exceed $15 billion in 2024, the Russian Trade Mission in Armenia said in a forecast.

For comparison, in January-October 2024, the trade turnover of the two countries amounted to almost $11 billion ($10 billion 876 million), while for the whole of 2023 - $7.3 billion.

In 2015, the trade turnover of the two countries amounted to $1.3 billion, in 2019 it exceeded $2 billion, and from 2022 it started to grow strongly (largely due to intermediary trade - ed). For the same reason, exports from Armenia to Russia grew from $600-700 million to $3.2 billion, and by the end of 2024 is expected to grow to $4.8 billion.
