The first freight train arrived on a new route from China to Uzbekistan

It became known that from China to Uzbekistan arrived the first freight train on a new route. This was reported by the press service of JSC “Uztemiryulcontainer”.

The first train consisting of 50 containers with industrial equipment and prefabricated cargo, successfully arrived at the station “Nazarbek” in Uzbekistan from the Chinese city of Jinhua.

The train covered a distance of 6,250 kilometers in 12 days, passing through the station “Altynkol” in Kazakhstan. It should be noted that this is the first trip on the new route “Jinhua - Nazarbek”.

For further transportation of cargoes to other regions of Uzbekistan it is planned to use express container trains running between “Nazarbek” and “Urgench” stations. Special platforms owned by Uzbek railroads will be used for this purpose.

The opening of the new railroad route will make it possible to significantly speed up and reduce the cost of cargo delivery between China and Uzbekistan, contributing to the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
