Russia is studying the possibilities of production of polymers and civil unmanned aircraft systems in Uzbekistan. This became known during the 5th meeting of the joint commission at the level of heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan.
“We propose to develop other directions. We are studying the possibilities of organizing high-tech production of polymers, localization of production of civil unmanned aircraft systems and their components,” the website of the Russian government quotes Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin as saying.
The Russian prime minister also mentioned that a decision has been made to create production facilities in Uzbekistan in the field of railroad engineering.
Following the meeting, Mishustin and Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov signed a communiqué on the results of the fifth session of the joint commission at the level of heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan.
Mishustin arrived in Tashkent for a two-day visit on September 9. Today, September 10, the Russian prime minister is scheduled to meet with Uzbekistan's head Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
