Prospects of development of cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan discussed in Astana

The leaders of Armenia and Kazakhstan reached a number of agreements in Yerevan in April this year.
YEREVAN, September 4 - Sputnik. Armenian Ambassador Armen Ghevondyan and Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu at a meeting in Astana discussed the prospects of development of bilateral cooperation and implementation of agreements previously reached by the heads of the two states.
According to the Embassy's press service, the sides talked about deepening cooperation between the countries in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The Armenian ambassador, by the decree of the President of Kazakhstan, was awarded the “Dostyk” Order of II degree “for his contribution to the development of friendly relations and multifaceted interaction between the two countries.”
Ghevondyan emphasized that he considers the awarding of the state award as a high assessment of the partnership between Armenian and Kazakh diplomats aimed at revealing the potential of interaction and practical implementation of the provisions of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan, as well as other documents.
Let us remind that the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid his first official visit to Armenia on April 15 this year. A number of agreements on trade, economic and investment projects were reached in Yerevan.
