Newly appointed Dilmurod Rakhmatullaev fired again

Ex-hokim of Andijan Dilmurod Rakhmatullayev started work as head of the city's improvement department on August 17, 2024, but was dismissed from the post less than a week later by decision of hokim Gofurjon Abdurakhmanov.

According to Kun.uz source, Dilmurod Rakhmatullayev was dismissed a few days after being appointed to a new position.

The press service of the Andijan city khokimiyat also confirmed to Kun.uz the fact of Dilmurod Rakhmatullaev's dismissal.

“Yes, he was indeed dismissed. However, I do not know for what reason,” a representative of the press service told Kun.uz reporter.

In June 2019, Dilmurod Rakhmatullaev was harshly criticized at a video conference call held by the regional khokim. In August of the same year, he claimed that there was a conspiracy against him, condemning actions that, in his opinion, damaged the reputation of the city and the region.
