The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's report that allegedly on April 9 from 19:25 to 19:35 the units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located on the southeastern section of the border does not correspond to reality. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Recall that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia proposed to establish a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations and/or information about them. However, Azerbaijan has not yet responded to the proposal.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia confirms that, in accordance with the position of the RA Prime Minister's Office, it is ready to investigate the facts confirming the statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, if they are transferred to the Armenian side.
