Bagrat Galstanyan is sure that peace and stability can be brought back to this extremely tense region through negotiations.

YEREVAN, September 22 - Sputnik. Armenia should abandon the notion of "pro" in foreign policy and become a reliable and predictable partner again. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the Tavush in the Name of Motherland movement, said this at a meeting with his associates at the Karen Demirchyan JCC, presenting an action plan.

"Since May we have been hearing time and again that the movement is dead or dying, causing joy for some and doubt and anxiety for others. I would like to state once and for all: the movement is just beginning, and if for some it is a political issue, for me it is a matter of life," he said.

According to him, the movement is only gaining momentum, and in the battle of nerves only the brave, patient and those who will not back down, who are ready for sacrifices and hardships, will win.

Galstanyan said that the movement and its supporters intend to restore the constitutional order in Armenia, and the actions of the authorities, which undermine its foundations, should receive a commensurate response.

"Armenia must have a legitimate government that speaks from the position of national and state interests. The divide between the state and society must be eliminated. We can and must restore national solidarity, including the potential of the diaspora," - he said.

According to Bagrat Galstanyan, Armenia should be the standard-bearer in establishing lasting peace and stability in the region. He emphasized that the movement is capable of finding a way to this end.

Galstanyan is confident that peace and stability in this extremely tense region can be restored through negotiations, bringing the Karabakh issue to the international agenda, restoring the right of return of Karabakh residents to their homes, as well as ensuring the return of prisoners and the liberation of Armenian territories.

He is also sure that Armenia should build its foreign policy "not by opposing, but by comparing power centers".
