‘During the past night the duty air defence means destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones: one UAV over the territory of the Voronezh region, three over the territory of the Belgorod region, four over the territory of the Bryansk region, four over the territory of the Kursk region and one over the territory of the Kaluga region’, - stated in the message.
We shall remind you that Ukrainian troops regularly shell and attack in various ways, including by means of UAVs, the border areas of the Russian Federation, in particular the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh regions.
Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on 24 February 2022. President Vladimir Putin called its goal ‘to protect people who have been subjected to abuse and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.’ For this purpose, he said, it is planned to carry out ‘demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine’ and bring to trial all war criminals responsible for ‘bloody crimes against civilians’ in Donbass. In response, Western countries have imposed sweeping sanctions against Russia.
