A series of EAEU-Iran events will be held within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan

The dialog will exchange views on strengthening and further development of trade and economic cooperation between the EAEU and Iran.

YEREVAN, September 13 - Sputnik. A series of events with the participation of representatives of authorities and business community of the Eurasian Economic Union and Iran will be held within the framework of the III Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan. This is reported on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

It is noted that the panel discussion of the EAEU-Iran Business Dialogue will be the main thematic session, during which an exchange of views on strengthening and further development of trade and economic cooperation between the EAEU and Iran will take place. The issues of industrial cooperation, cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, trade and investment facilitation, as well as the development of financial, transportation and logistics infrastructure will be discussed.

The program of the EAEU-Iran Business Dialogue is complemented in practical terms by four industry round tables for companies participating in the forum in these areas. Also, the possibility of establishing partnerships through the service of face-to-face and online B2B meetings on the margins of the forum is being worked out for the entrepreneurs of the EAEU and Iran.

To remind, the forum “10 Years of the EAEU: Prospects and Priorities” will be held in Yerevan from September 30 to October 1. The key topic of all events will be the issues of integration processes in the EAEU.

The Eurasian Economic Union is an international integration economic union, which has been functioning since January 1, 2015. The members of the union are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
