Winter conscription in the Armenian Armed Forces starts on November 25

Winter conscription for compulsory military service in the Armenian Armed Forces will start on November 25.


The Armenian government at a session on November 21 adopted a decision on declaring the winter conscription and demobilization of 2024 privates compulsory military service.


According to the decision, the draft will last from November 25, 2024 to January 31, 2025 inclusive. Male citizens who turn 18 years old or whose deferment period for compulsory military service expires before December 31, 2024 inclusive will be drafted into the army.
