Turkey updates national security policy document: not a single line about Armenia

Turkey's National Security Council held its first meeting of the year, headed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the Turkish Milliyet, after the meeting a statement was published, according to which the document on the foreign policy of national security will be updated every 5 years, based on the situation.
The new document includes the necessary policy directions for Turkey based on the developments in the world and the region.
The 7-point statement issued after the Council meeting touched upon the developments in Turkey's domestic and foreign policy, the fight against the Kurdish PKK and Gulen movement, the issues related to the security and territorial integrity of the new Syrian authorities, ensuring a ceasefire in Gaza and ways to justly resolve the Palestinian issue, Turkey's role in solving problems in Africa, the Middle East and the Balkans without clashes.
