U.S. President Donald Trump has said that he will not allow the participation of Ilon Musk, who oversees the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), in government projects where he may have a conflict of interest, including in space development.

“I will not allow any conflict of interest,” Trump told reporters Tuesday while signing the new executive orders at his Mar-a-Lago estate near West Palm Beach, Florida.

“I said to Ilon: any conflicts - and you can't have anything to do with that. So anything that touches on that [conflict of interest], maybe even space, we're not going to let Ilon get involved in that,” the White House chief added.
