The President of Georgia arrived on an official visit to Armenia

The President of Georgia Mikhail Kavelashvili arrived on his first official visit to Armenia.

He was met by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan at the airport.

During the visit, Kavelashvili will meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

“Georgia and Armenia are linked by a deep and lasting friendship. I am glad that one of my first foreign visits is a visit to our close neighbor, which emphasizes the importance of our bilateral ties,” the Georgian President wrote in social network X.

It should be noted that Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili paid a visit to Baku on April 14-15. He held talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
