The European Parliament's Permanent Rapporteur on Armenia welcomed the launch of the EU accession process of the Republic of Armenia

The European Parliament's Permanent Rapporteur on Armenia, Miriam Lexmann, has welcomed the decision of the republic's government to start the EU accession process.

“Those who meet the necessary conditions and share our values should always be welcome,” she wrote in her X.

The Armenian government gave a positive assessment of Armenia's EU accession project on January 9.
