CNN reported about the phone talks the day before, citing journalist Bob Woodward's book “War”.

YEREVAN, October 9 - Sputnik. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied that former U.S. President Donald Trump allegedly had seven phone conversations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin after he left office.

“No, this is not true,” Peskov told RBC when asked if Putin and Trump had called each other.

Earlier, the campaign headquarters of US presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized the forthcoming book “War” by renowned journalist Bob Woodward, saying that none of the episodes described in it are true. CNN published excerpts from the interview on Tuesday. They include, among other things, claims about Trump's alleged phone contacts with Putin that happened after 2021.
