The Georgian Prime Minister said that nothing is changing and the Georgian presidential election will be held on December 14.

After that, Kobakhidze said, “all constitutional bodies will be staffed according to the will of the majority of the Georgian people.”

There is only one presidential candidate in the “election” - Mikhail Kavelashvili, a confidant of Bidzina Ivanishvili, a former soccer player and “the best embodiment of a Georgian man,” as was said during the introduction.

The incumbent president Salome Zurabishvili said the day before that everything that is happening is illegitimate and she will not resign from office until new parliamentary elections.

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili will have to leave the residence despite her refusal to resign, Kobakhidze said.

“Mrs. Zurabishvili has four Fridays left, she cannot accept it. I understand her emotional state, although she will have to leave the residence on December 29 and cede the building to the legitimately elected president,” the Georgian Dream prime minister said and called Zurabishvili a ”loser.”
