Prime Minister of the Georgian Dream government Irakli Kobakhidze has again left for the UAE.

He will participate in the World Government Summit on February 11-13 in Dubai. The aim of the summit is to work out solutions to ensure global progress in the next 10 years.

This year's summit will bring together heads of state and leaders from about 30 countries, more than 80 international organizations and government delegations from 140 countries.

Among the guests of the event are IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abu-Gheit and OPEC Secretary General Heisem el-Gheis, as well as top managers of such companies as Google, Mastercard, AstraZeneca and Dow Jones.

On the last day of the summit, businessman and director of the US government's performance management organization (DOGE), billionaire Ilon Musk is expected to address a session titled “Boring Cities, Artificial Intelligence and DOGE”. A year ago, he proposed to the sheikhs to build a vacuum underground train in the UAE that would cut the journey from Dubai to Abu Dhabi from 1 hour 20 minutes to 12 minutes. Musk's family also reported plans to invest a billion dollars to establish a scientific center in Dubai to study gravity and nuclear fusion.

Together with Kobakhidze, the ministers of foreign affairs, economy, justice and the head of the government administration traveled to Dubai.

The geography of Kobakhidze's visits, against the background of an unprecedented crisis in relations with Western partners, in recent months has been exclusively Azerbaijan, the UAE, Kazakhstan, and Armenia.

Kobakhidze has already traveled to the Emirates in late January, returning from there with a memorandum of cooperation with the largest real estate development company EMAAR - it is about investments of 6 billion dollars over five years in two projects in Georgia: in the vicinity of Tbilisi and in Batumi.
