Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received expensive gifts after participating in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council held in Moscow on December 13. This is reported in the newspaper “Zhoghovurd”.

It is reported that from his Russian colleague Mikhail Mishustin he received a “Winter Fairy Tale” set for six persons worth 650 thousand drams ($1.6 thousand). The set was painted by Alexei Vorobievsky, a famous artist of the Imperial Porcelain Factory.

The author's works are kept in the collections of the Hermitage, the Russian Museum and the State Museum of Ceramics in Kuskovo. His Uzbek counterpart Abdulla Aripov presented Pashinyan with a brass engraving “Ichan-Kala” worth 628,000 drams ($1,500).

Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Zhaparov presented his Armenian counterpart with a painting depicting the Khor Virap Monastery at the foot of Mount Ararat. The painting is worth 80,000 drams ($200).

It is not reported what Pashinyan presented to the heads of governments of the EAEU countries.

By the way, Pashinyan was not present at the next meeting of the CIS and Eurasian Economic Union leaders, which took place in St. Petersburg in late December; he took part in the EAEU summit via video link.
