Iranian political scientist: Aliyev's regime attempted to suppress a Shiite religious event

An unsuccessful attempt by the Zionist regime's police in Aliyev to suppress a mourning procession in memory of Hussein ibn Ali (grandson of the Prophet Muhammad). Iranian political scientist Ehsan Movahhedian wrote about this on social media.

"They are beating activist Seide Shehlu, photographing and filming the participants of the event. Law enforcement officers tore down the ‘I am Hussein’ flag because it is not the flag of the Baku regime, and are trying to restrict entry and exit to mosques. The Shiites are persistent, and this level of oppression only shortens the life of Aliyev's brutal regime," he said.
