Georgia's Relations with the US, EU and Russia - Irakli Kobakhidze promised to “reset everything”

“Georgian Dream” promises a ‘reset’ of relations with the US and the EU, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced at the presentation of his election program.

According to him, this is “the most important national task”.

Without going into the reasons for the current crisis in relations with Western partners, Kobakhidze claimed that by 2030 these problems will not exist and Georgia will become a member of the EU.

He again referred to the fact that the Georgian Dream is waiting for the end of the war in Ukraine next year, after which “everything will change.”

At the same time, Kobakhidze said that deepening cooperation with NATO remains a top priority.

In parallel, the Georgian Dream promises to intensively develop “strategic cooperation with China in economic and political terms.”
