Azerbaijani Defense Ministry once again spread disinformation

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry's report that on March 19 around 14:15 Armenian Armed Forces units opened fire in the direction of Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the border zone does not correspond to reality. This is reported by the Armenian Defense Ministry.

Recall that the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia proposed to establish a joint Armenia-Azerbaijan mechanism to investigate ceasefire violations and/or information about them. However, Azerbaijan has not yet responded to this proposal.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia confirms that, in accordance with the position of the RA Prime Minister's Office, it is ready to investigate the facts confirming the statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry if they are handed over to the Armenian side.

At the moment, the Republic of Azerbaijan has not handed over to the Republic of Armenia any factual data or evidence of ceasefire violations by the units of the RA Armed Forces.
