Azerbaijan’s PM meets with UNDP Administrator

Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Achim Steiner, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

During the meeting, the sides expressed confidence that COP29 would play a pivotal role in advancing global initiatives to mitigate the impacts of climate change and promote green energy utilization.

The discussion also covered the longstanding, productive partnership between Azerbaijan and UNDP, their collaboration on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the implementation of joint projects, and other issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda.
