Azerbaijan and Armenia start works on delimitation of state border

Members of the state commissions of Azerbaijan and Armenia agreed during a meeting on Thursday to start a set of works on delimitation of the state border of the two countries from the northern section, the press service of the Azerbaijani state commission on delimitation of the state border with Armenia reported.
The eleventh meeting of the Azerbaijani state commission on delimitation of the state border between the two countries and the Armenian commission on delimitation of the state border and border security with the neighboring republic was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
“During the meeting, the Parties continued the exchange of views on the issue of the order of sections/sections of the border line for further delimitation works and agreed to start the complex of works on delimitation of the state border from the northern section - from the area of the junction point of the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia and Georgia and further in the southern direction - from north to south, up to the border of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia with the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the report says.
