Armenian President appoints commander of peacekeepers' brigade and head of Defense Ministry's armament department

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan appointed Colonel Ruben Papyan commander of the peacekeeping forces brigade. The decree was published on the President's website.


Another presidential decree appoints Colonel Hamlet Levonyan, former commander of the same brigade, as the head of the Department of Armament and Technical Support of the Ministry of Defense.


Papyan previously served in a peacekeeping brigade, including commanding the Armenian contingent in Afghanistan.
